Sometimes i wonder if the climate of exams,exams and more exams threaten to breed a future of intellectual misanthropes with grey matter in the left brain hemisphere (and nothing more). I mean as a matter of fact, some really do find complete satisfaction in sniffing off the dried ink of printed materials which seem as vital as air.
To be honest, getting confined to the four walls of concentration-camp-alike has had some deleterious impact on my interpersonal and communication skills, which i was once assured of, thankful for and maybe a little proud of. Ill just pray hard that when the day of liberation comes, with some stretching, my right brain wont dehydrate and shrivel like some expired prune.
On a lighter note, im so extremely glad that fen's coming back. HURAAY! And one of the most, most lifting encouragements came in ytd, from majie- no weapon formed against you shall prosper! Amen! The battle of the mind thats been contended with was one of the most aggressive ones, and how powerful is our mind- it creates and it destroys.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper! And i sense a breakthrough coming.
Anyw i'm going to claim the vision that God gave, by faith- 4 As and 1 B. I know its by no coincidence, that very night a few weeks ago after i saw it while praying, my mum told me "Felicia, i saw that you scored 4As and 1B". I was dumbfounded for a moment because i didnt even tell her anything about what God has promised! Many thoughts of the As flying off to the galaxies came, especially after doing the papers which punched my moral down the bottomless valley, but i'm still gonna proclaim it , by faith!

I thought i was going to wallow in sorrow for an hour ytd night, but i thank God that He gave me wisdom to decide not to, because it would be more wise to use the hour for revision. Besides having to bounce back from a pool of tears takes time and effort (who knows you'll be drown in it sooner than you think?). So i allowed God to fill me with His hope and joy, encouragement and endurance, to continue fighting the fight of faith :)

It's a Western Bfast, turned Asian! :O
Ok the Bfast 'Saga' started with intentions of making Egg Mayo Sandwich. Boiled my egg for a couple of minutes, and turned off the stove after muuch bubbling. And then i considered how it would take some time for the yoke to coagulate, so i sent it back for re-boiling. But who knows the thickness and hardness of the egg shell, that resists the penetration of heat?! (with the exception of heri; who managed to rightly predict The 23.5 deg C at airport). I was happily testing out my egg , almost with that spinning experiment, and i was well satisfied with the seemingly positive result. Quite excitedly cracked it and lo and beholdd, HALF DENATURED ENZYMES! *squirms*
Thankfully it didnt turn out bad!:D I broke that golden yellow egg yolk and scooped the whites into a bowl, added dark sauce and seasoned with pepper, and tadah! Traditional Bfast of the 60's! muahaha. Cool B) and it is YUMMMZZ

oh let me tell you something so cooool! My mommy told me that Ah Ma used to be the Beauty Queen of her xiang chun (ie. village)! So cool right, haha! She won the Village 'Beauty Pageant' of her time :D Initially i thought she was trying to test if my gullib-o-meter has heightened. (but i thought women in the 1950's were very conservative!)
Yea so anyw ytd was the last day of Prelims! wooohooooo~! BUT, the REAL thing isnt here yet. At least we've got a feel of the freedom that-is-to-come :D sweeet. Allowed ourselves to enjoy belly therapy, retail therapy, and all the du-wangs ; their gambo therapy. And all our (not-so) crazy photos are on facebook!
Our well-earned celebration started off with the bunch of us going to Fish and Co. for palatable fiiissh! Then we headed for PS , and i had to leave soon for dental. Joined them at orchard afterwards, and we went to eat somemooore at taka! hahaha. (Who says "braces-people" cant eat hurr! :D) Had lots of fun together, and maaaannnn i think we really missed all the past bondings we've had! So at the end of it all, the sole survivors dawn ginseng n myself went to this shop at taka, and check out our very interesting findings!

How queer can it get. How long is 30 minutes? 30 mins from now would be 1015. 30 mins from 15mins from now would be 1030. Anyw, just an interesting observation. ha ha.
Its GP Prelims tmr, and i caught a cold ytd, or maybe its flu. BOOOO! :((( The achey feeling and intermittent headthrobes are hindering my revision! And having a bloated abdomen from breathing through my mouth, just makes things even not-so-well. urgh, i am praying hard that i'll recover by tmr. The bible says whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received and it IS yours. Trying to confess some bible verses, especially when insiduous feelings of despair find its way in. The Holy Spirit is my Helper, and He will teach me regarding ALL things.
The heat and the pressure's cooking up with A's looming nearer than ever. Ive got to stay positive, I've got to!!

Ive never seen such chatty boys before! especially in a library. Their mummerings followed their footsteps, and trailed behind them even as they took their leave. tsk. Noiizzzzz
Anyw, i think the govt's really doing smthg to make sure the service sectors get their mannerisms up to standard before the YOG, and im so proud of the bus aunty who drove the bus 53 on my way home! She never failed to greet "Thank you! Bye!" to those alighting, and "HELLO!" to those boarding (altho it sounded a little fierce. HAHAHA). But i guess its a good start. I wonder why, but no one returned her greetings! So i decided to be the first, and when she greeted "goodbye", i quipped "bye!". Yay, at least i think it did make her day for a moment. I wonder how many exchanged greetings she got per trip. So my dearest friends, if a bus uncle or aunty greets you, return his/her greeting! And you'll feel good later for being friendly and polite :)
PM's National Day Rally ytd was rather interesting, and humorous at certain parts, especially when it came to the point about comparing the trend of birth rates, as well as the plans drafted to encourage more ppl to get married and conceive (not 1, but 2 at least). It's so funny how the peaks of birth rates alws occurred on the DRAGON years. haha! But unfortunately, the dragon babies are decreasing in no.s and to quote PM Lee, he said by the time 2014, we'll have mini dragons, and they really showed a small dragon picture over there. So cute! :P
Ohhhhh OHhhh YYeesssss, smthg that's closer to our hearts (as in for the JC ppl). I read it in the papers a few weeks ago, that they are bringing SDU's marriage (revised) planning workshops into JCs?! :O It's really mm, shocking. Spore's really in dire straits with its aging population.
Good news! A Bundle Of Joy, A New Life was birth tooday! Mrs Poh went into labour in the early early morn, and we are all so happy for her :D Her baby girl must be really cute.. aww.. See, so with her new baby, and with her toddler son, she has reproduced to replace she and her husband. Good citizen. HAHA.

i seldom reveal to others this innate interest of mine, and (i dont know why) but im so old school and i love jazz and broadway music! Shhh its a secret! im meant to be young at heart. *grin* :D
And (i dont know why), but i just love observing the sky and clouds, and trust me, they are sooo preeetty! The intensity of sky-blue penetrates through every deep thought, and it does have some therapeutic effect on your soul! and sometimes its fascinating to watch how those clouds change in their conformation, and it gets stupid when there were afew occasions i just stopped walking while on the overhead bridge to watch the clouds and the sky (the people around were thinking like "this girl is crazy") NOOO ok. There are so many things in life that people often fail to see/ enjoy, because they just walk tooo fast. oh maaaan, ive got a bucket-full of photos over the past month, and yes ive posted some of them up, so that you can show some admiration(hopefully) and gratitude toward the Creator behind this beautiful creation!

It was a really chilly morn when i was enjoying a mug of steaming hot chocolate with marshmellows by the window that faces the garden, and as usual i decided to peer out of the window when i saw such dynamic-looking clouds, i would say. loooook! (i didnt upload the best of the best because blogger messed up the sequence of my photos! boo!)
I was on the way home. The few photos below were taken on the same spot at the overhead bridge just across my house. I HAD TO stop!
Note that all the photos were taken with my 3MP phone camera. Can you imagine how gorgeous those stuff looked in front of my eyes.. :)

Had one of the best school celebrations ever, on the thurs night that just passed, and the credit goes to the Student's Council and those who participated :) The videos just tickled everyone, and 2 thumbs up for the performances! The first ever gym perf on stage was heart-racing and definitely enthralling, with many of us crossing fingers for the gymnasts to remain on stage, and not accidentally flipping over the edge and down on the floor area. Its so cool how they twist and turned, somersault and leaped. The burst of energy lit up the stage! It ended with 'Community Singing' and this part just tied the loose ends of the celebration. We had such great time jumping to the rhythm of the songs with our arms interlocked, forming one loong chain. Indeed, This(Singapore) is where, I know its home.. (yi sheng de ai wei you jia), as the song goes. What a warm celebration :) and ofcourse we didnt leave till we took photos! (i cant upload them yet, because my new comp wont allow me to dl my sony ericsson prog)
School's been very enjoyable, with junyi, zhiyang and the crazy guys spouting nonsensical remarks and lame qns during lessons. I mean it really spawns muuuch laughter and lightens up the atmosphere, and i think 3L rocks! We play hard, and we study hard (maybe not as hard as the rest, but well...) Many of us share the same sentiments that this is one of the most bonded class we've had in our schooling years, and we're definitely going to miss this good ol' days once we graduate. So we're cherishing these precious moments now :) Even the funny mock interview conducted during CV can generate so much fun! Took some videos with my phone, and each time when i relooked them, i cant stop laughing :D i'll post them up soon ok, once my prog is fixed!
oh yes, and of course, our no.1 Hits on the Bio students' Billboards- the Respiration song! HAHA! It's so corny , but it works eh!
3 cheers for RJ! Ever since i entered the college, i never looked back, and never regretted. And if anyone wud ask, it's really one of the most fun school years ive ever had. Despite the moments of cracking, it all turns out to be a complete beautiful painting :)
