3L has indeed been one of the best classes (in fact the best) ive ever gotten ever since i took on the occupation of a student. I really thank God for every single one of them, especially the usual 'gang' that comprises of shan, dawn, char, josh, dexter, chester, ginseng, qihua, ben and once awhile xiuhue,timo, and willie :)
friday was probably the latest ive ever slept this year! stayed up till 430am preparing vday gifts and cards for 6 hrs, for my beloved friends :D HAPPY HAPPY VEEEEDAY AND FRIENDSHIP DAY! I LOVE YOU ALL! It was awesome! Im so thankful for the friends God has given me, and of course, their chocolates, notes, and creative gifts. One person to commend really is char (eeh! if youre reading this, say CHEEEEESE! heheheee) who didnt get a wink of sleep, working thru the night to painstakingly make preetty preetty cards for us! and man, the guys in class are sure learning to do 'their-thing'. They bought all the girls in class roses, plus chocolates :D Wonderful eh. Our 'Single-to-mingle' dinner (coool name hurrr! supposedly the 'gangs' dinner) was cancelled, but well, at least we got to rest, and recharge ourselves for Take 5 at Pasir Ris Park today! wheeeeeeeeeeee!
Take 5 would be the most significant event in the history of any RJ-ians i guess. (ha. i'm not going with the ol' name of Rafflesians :D). With the counsellors slogging their hearts and mind and soul out for this BIG day! Milo van, ice cream stand, dogdeball, catcall, goood. fooood (sold), soccer, etcetcetc. , not forgetting to mention picnic, and Talentime finals! Wow man, all i can say is that Rj-ians sure have talent, and most performances blew us off our feet/ melted our hearts/ made our jaws touch the
grass/ induced abs-building laughter. Impressive! Way to go! :D
So after Take 5 we went to TM for swensons, followed by a trip down to char's house. It's almost becoming our class home! haha! ok well, maybe not class but 'gang'. So the-usual went down and had our post CNY and Vday reunion :D It was totally festive and we felt like we were almost celebrating post A's, so puhleeease dont remind me that we've not yet conquered CTs 1. Watched a movie, played with the big swing, had the hyper naughty Baby running around and pumping energy into the atmosphere, binged on chomp-chomp's stingray/satay/ etcetcetc. , camwhored, singing crazy songs, and yea i guess this summarises it. We yumseng-ed toooo!!! The first attempt with conventional. But! the 2nd attempt was waaay coool! We yumseng-ed with "LIFE... IS...... AWESOME! " Char, ginseng and chester yumseng-ed their tagline of '' LIFE.. IS.... TOUGH" instead. haha.. Life really isnt tough. It all depends on the perspective that we take :) yea, and tadah! i'm back home, while some stayed over.
wow, I'll miss the way we celebrate, the way we love, the way we just take things easy and with a light heart. I'm hoping every day will pass slower so that the good times wont fade away so quickly, but 24 hrs is all we've got. The best we can do, is to treasure those moments.
This really isnt my style of blogging; narrating the whole day's incident, but i just thought that these days are heart-felt imprints of my memories :)
Tomorrow will be a good day. Every day with God cant go wrong, because there's a purpose to everything we do. Be it the big, or small, every single thing is precious in His sight, and part of his meticulous plan.
Its 2am, so that's all for now folks! my eyelids are submitting to the battle with Eyebrows (quoting the stand-up comedian at Take 5 Talentime :D)
